About Us

Leanne and Andrew had a dream of one day being able to work together for themselves.

The love of animals and devotion to our own fur kid became the stimulation to begin Dog-Gone Walking & Minding. We wanted to be able to share our love of animals to those who were not able to walk their dogs due to time restrictions or holidays. We didn’t want them to miss out.

Having backgrounds in dealing with people, we believe we have the understanding and empathy to be trustworthy friends for both you and your much loved family pets.

Perhaps just a walk around the block, chasing a ball in the park or maybe reliable companions for them while you are away from home. We can even just provide play time to those who are not up for walking.

We believe that pets can be much more comfortable and happy in their own home environment. With our help you can relax while away with the knowledge we are there to care for your pets and even to keep an eye on your property, being fully insured and having National Police checks.

“Bear” completes our family. A 14 year old Maltese X who has been with us since six weeks of age and now with diabetes we have all learnt to deal with his dependence on daily insulin, slowing him a bit, but we all still enjoy our family team walks together.
